It’s a great time for beginnings. It’s a New Year, we’ve got a new President—and I’ve got a brand new blog.

This is Roxanne Emmerich, CEO of The Emmerich Group, and I’ve gotta tell you, I’m pretty jazzed about this blog thing. It’s not that I don’t get a chance to write or talk about the stuff that interests and excites me—heck, it’s what I do for a living. But there’s something different about this. It’s a chance to be more unfiltered, less careful, more personal than some of the other ways I get my ideas out there. It’s also a terrific opportunity for me to shoot my mouth off and even make some great big productive mistakes.

It’s ironic that my best opportunity to write without a net is on the Net.
