Get Out of the River

Monday, January 31st, 2011

Thank God it’s Monday!™ How many of us are just floating? Living life aimlessly… letting the river of life take us where it pleases, and just sitting back for the ride…

Don’t get me wrong, that’s certainly nice at times, but a life lived with passion and purpose is so much better. Now where do you see yourself ten years from now? Five years from now? Next year?

You say the answers aren’t so clear? Well then, how do you think you’ll ever get there!? The good news is you can fix it. You can refocus your life quite easily—but first you must have a sense of where you are going.

So take a moment—whether you’re at the office, in the kitchen, or sitting in bed—and write out the answers to those questions. As you begin to think of the possibilities, you’ll certainly feel a rush of energy. That future can be yours. So step up, refocus, get the heck out of the river, and make it happen!

Have a great Monday!

Results Trump Brains

Thank God it’s Monday!™ You know the guy… he aced every test, answered every question correctly. The all-around classroom standout. You’ve fallen out of touch with him since high school graduation, but given his academic record, you’re convinced he’s a billionaire somewhere.

It’s possible, but it’s just as likely that you’re wrong. In fact, a nationwide study found that people of below average intelligence were, overall, just as wealthy as those with higher IQs.

So what does this mean? You’re smart enough! Achieving monetary success is not simply a product of the brain. Moreover, you control your success.

Look at your latest paycheck–the number you’re looking at is a direct reflection of what you think you’re worth, because if it wasn’t, you would change it. Things like, how badly you want it, persistence, and outside support, dramatically affect success.

Don’t limit yourself. Never assume you know less. You have the ability to make it, but only as far as YOU BELIEVE you can go, and you commit to deliver massive results!

Have a great Monday!
